I know VW don't see the code anymore but that doesn't mean the code doesn't exist.

The seven digit SKC code was generated by the VAG system, you are after the five digit PIN which always starts with a 0. On the later dash panels this can be very difficult to extract, the last time we needed it was because our ODIS cable was faulty so we had a locksmith come out and extract the PIN and I entered it with VCDS,
