Android head unit with Skoda software integration?

Featured Replies

I have a 2014 Octavia with MIB1 - no issues with it really but android auto would be nice, along with a more aesthetically looking unit. I was considering the MIB2 upgrade route, but the cost seems to outweigh the benefits.

So I was wondering if any of the big screen android units on the market offer integration with Skoda software? I know some will do the driving mode selection and tyre pressure monitoring - but are there any that will pop up warning messages for low fuel, warning lights, fuel usage stats on screen like the OEM system does?

Many thanks in advance.

I'd be interested in this too!!

This us a risky road that I already went.

If you really want to go that route, get your unit from ebilaen.

And don't go under the 4gigs ram model.

Their units will show the drive mode.

But beware, call qualitiy is really crappy.and these units don't understand s...t when you want to use vocal commands on android auto. They beep as to register your command but just don't understand a word so basically Android auto is useless.

There is a huge post on the forum on these units.
