Hello, I have recently taken delivery of a 2020 Kamiq S.  It doesn't come with Android Auto enabled (it gives me a message that Smartlink is not enabled).  Dealer is quoting £550 to upgrade, which seems a bit steep.  Can anyone give me an idea what options I have please (or point me in the direction of a website).  I understand that there are several types of infotainment systems, some which can be updated and some which cannot, but I don't know how to identify what's what.

My understanding was the S came with AA and ACP as standard.

Hi ayrshiredude, thanks for your reply. What is AA and/or ACP? And can it/they be updated to enable SmartLink?

AA - Android Auto ACP - Apple Care Play. As I say I thought they were standard on all Kamiqs.  I  guess I could be Wrong

I know some older Skodas were like, You needed a module fitted for it to work,  but I'm surprised the Kamiq is

I don't know about another module, all I know is that the dealer wants £550 to do it!

I'd suspect thats to have the Android Auto Module Fitted.

Ok, does £550 seem a reasonable amount to fit the module? Or should I be looking elsewhere?
