Hello,

I have problem with my Octavia III 1.6 tdi chla....car runs fine, no faults...but when it came hot if I drive hikinh on hils (water stays normal 90) after few kilometers uphill losses power. Its like old SDI...no power (no turbo) I must change gear to 1 to move frome road to park....few minutes and car goes much better or normal...

The car has no faults,... vacum pipes checked...

A few mechanic has no idea....

If somehove intercooler is not cooled or something is stuck....it can cause problems when hot air is coming in engine??? what do you think? I found someone has change pipe and now is half stucked

Walnut Blasting: is it worth it?

I have a 12 year old Skoda Octavia mk3 TSI 1.4 with 155000 miles on the clock. It has JUST scraped through its MOT after repeated emissions failures due to carbon buildup. The mechanic has told me he doesn't want to see the car back next year as it won't pass again and cleaning the carbon deposit off wouldn't be worth it given the age and value of the car. I've read a lot about Walnut Blasting to remove carbon buildup. Would it be worth it in my case or is the mechanic right, and I should just

Hi, I’m hoping someone can help me, I own a Skoda superb 2016 dsg, I’ve been driving along and suddenly car goes into limp mode and my car won’t drive, it comes up with a number of faults, tyre pressure, parking break fault, traction control etc, I turn it off wait a few minutes and turn key again, then it drives for a few miles and does the same again, the code reader tells me it’s lost control with tcm, I’ve changed wheel bearings and abs sensors and still nothing, now my car won’t start as it

Hey guys, I need to keep a 2kg fire extinguisher in my car due to legal requirements in Greece and I’m trying to figure out the best mounting spot. My main concern is securing it properly so it doesn’t rattle or move around while driving. I’d love to hear from anyone who’s dealt with this — where did you mount yours, and did you use a dedicated bracket or holder?
