My heater is just blowing cold air. Last time it was fixed by reprogramming the electronics controlling the vents. Can't find the procedure on here in search. Pls can someone enlighten me ? Tks guys 

 

Thanks - I remember now that worked last time. But this time it hasn't done the trick (I tried the procedure several times) Is there another programming fix pls guys ?

The MQB platform heater matrix is very prone to blockage which is almost impossible to flush out, thankfully VAG must have expected this and made the matrix almost as easy to change as a Golf 1… it went right downhill after that.

I feared it might be the matrix. Are pattern parts OK or should I cough up for a Skoda part ?
