What do I have to finger to turn on Laura?

Featured Replies

Hi all,

In last day or so Laura has completely broken on my infosystem. Won't speak at all and doesn't respond to anything.

Even the language menu in settings seems to be greyed out.

I've tried holding down the power button with no luck. Just restarts and doesn't kick her to life.

Any other way? Thinking maybe a full reset to factory settings and relink myskoda app etc with the keys

Could be a corruption in your user profile. Maybe create a temporary user and try that.

Had to do a full factory reset to get it working again. Deleting of user profile didn't work.

After full reset and setting up primary user again I can now hear Laura telling me he/she "doesn't Understand" , "please wait a moment" and "checking online" everytime again. So things back to normal 🤣

Well Laura has decided to stop talking to me again. Possibly because I said He/She was fuking useless.

Neither 'ok laura' or button on steering wheel will work. Looks like I need to do a factory reset again.

Am I right in thinking a factory reset will restore to base fw version of 1941 and all updates get wiped? If so I'm not going to update again as something in latest one keeps on breaking laura

Maybe you've abused her too often so she needs a rest? 3 years and I've never used it!

Great title!!!

I was doing some repairs on the house I used to rent out in the UK, the tenant had whatever the Alexa thing was, it was left on radio (for the dog :blush) and I could not work out how to turn it down, frustrated I shouted "ALEXA, SHUT THE **** UP! and she got the message and did just that, trouble was when I later wanted to turn it back on she just ignored me 😀
