Maybe this subject has been discussed before but does anyone know how to stop the rear wiper from being activated when it rains I would like to turn it off & on at my discretion not the cars.  Many thanks

I think I have the same issue, but I have noticed that it only does it every so often, and cannot find what causes it (or not)

so I will follow this thread 

 

 

The random rear wipe also occurs on the Kodiaq and the only way to stop it is to untick the rear wipe on reverse option, maybe Octavia is the same.

That's it. I did that the second day I got the car.
