Not sure how easy it is to swap part way through an order. If the dealer is as much of a tw@ as you seem to think, he may decide to keep your deposit (you are effectively cancelling the order). You want it earlier (I can understand that) but is it worth

Its all very well voting against poor service by taking yourbusiness elsewhere.

I find it particularly satisfying to then explain to the manager WHY you have just spent a large abount of money at their competitor!

Unfortunatly I will doubt very much that you will get deposit back on grounds of poor service unfortunatly. I'm not an expert on the law but you entered into a contract with them and they can claim they were going to honer that contract to supply the car.
