Im quite liking the VW EOS

Featured Replies

Just seen this EOS thing by VW. It's a 4 seater cabrio with hard top and looks not too bad. Currently I have an MX5 as a bit of fun and this might be a good alternative if:

A: My ship comes in

B: We decide to have sprogs

C: We wait 3 years for price to drop

:rolleyes:Anyone else got opinions (about the EOS)

Looks good roof down - bit naff roof up

I like the look of it too - saw it outside our local VW dealer two weeks ago. Drives not badly too apparently (well according to Jason Plato )

Seems a bit pricey though - not really surprising for VW that though is it?

It's certainly a good bit more expensive than the 307/megane/astra hard top convertibles but then it does look like it might have useable back seats , won't break down all the time and a windscreen that doesn't take your head off.

Nice looking car as well

This months Diesel Car magazine has a test of one and it doesn't come out too well IMHO. Too expensive and too much body movement. They even said the Astra was better.

I saw one at the Cornwall show a couple of weeks back. First of all I walked past it thinking it was a facelifted Megane..... then took a double take when I saw the badge at the front.

Looks very nice indeed.

I just got back from Germany, they are really popular, there was an owners club (already) having a run with around a dozen of them in the Harz, very nice looking cars roof up or down.
