Skoda Superb - iV charge flap actuator sticking

Recommended Posts

The charge flap actuator is sticking in the closed position making it difficult to open the charge flap. The car is still under warranty and will be taken to the dealership for a fix. Just wondered if anyone nows the part number so that I can do a bit of research on it.

Has anyone else experienced similar trouble.

The issue happened if it was hot or cold. It went to the dealer and they have changed the actuator out under warranty. It was sticking during opperation

At least one other iV owner has had the same problem on this forum

Hi, I’ve got this issue on my 2020 Superb iV, out of warranty.

The actuator is dead and needs replacing.  I bought the part, but am looking for a guide on how to change it out.

I’ll found a guide for a Golf GTE, which seems to be installed much more simply than the superb, but wondering if anyone has seen a guide on how to change it out on the superb?

many thanks in advance….
