No heat? 1.6

Featured Replies

Evening all, other half's skoda fabia has no heat. Temp guage gets up to 90 and nothing, barely even warm. Done thermostat, heater matrix flushed all the ****e out the pipes. Next expansion tank, someone may have snapped the return pipe... Oops.

Still nothing. What's left to try? Also done radiator hoses.

Hot air flap stuck on cold, try cycling it back and forth.

Do you have a way to get to the flap?

No, it's inside the plenum but cycling the temperature between full cold and full heat will sometimes unstick it, sit in the car after driving home and put the blower on full and twist the knob one way, wait ten seconds then twist it the other way, do this until you can feel it getting better.

I tried that and didn't work. I did however have a good feel of the hoses. Bottom radiator hoses are cold. So will flush radiator tomo and see if it's blocked. Heater matrix was blocked and I thought I had flushed everything out.
