Hi there,

I have a Fabia MK2 1.6 TDI. Recently I have been experiencing issues where the engine would rev on it own in idle and it would shake at steady speed. A lot of times the glow plug light comes on and the car goes into limp mode. I have change the fuel rail twice. First time I thought it fixed it but probably after another 6k miles it came back. Does anyone have any idea of what it could be?

These are the error codes:

Basic OBD2:

P0192 (Pending) (Confirmed) - Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor "A" Circuit Low

Engine:

10130

Injectors usually fail on the 1.6 tdi , can only really be fuel pump or injector related for me ,

what fault codes come up ?

Sounds like an injector is sticking open causing the revving and the pressure drop in the fuel rail, these engines eat injectors so I'd replace all four if they've never been done before.
