The old girl @project175kplus had a visit to @CCvaletinguk for a fresh coating from Performance People   yeah it cost a lot but meh

 

 

 

 

I also got the brand spanking new Neuspeed rse-11R colour swapped from black to silver (flow formed and sooooo light weight)

all shod in Michelin ps5's and coated in the same 10 year 10 H hardness coating as the car itself

NEW WHEEL FITMENT DAY YESTERDAY 8.5X18 ET34 Neuspeed RSE-11r now in silver as i wasn't down with the black

With the new ps5's (so new wheels in a new colour with new tyres)

So i like wheels and finally fitted a different set , the 19 inch fifteen 52's are yet to be finished :( these are the Neuspeed RSE-11R 8.5x18 with Pilot Sport 5's 225/40/18 on

feel it needs to be lower

So do I. A good design is a nice bracket for attaching a tyre to a wheel hub, but Neuspeed S-11s are just a bunch of stress raisers around a hub.

Predictably, I prefer the 10 spoke to the 6.

As much as I like the five spoke wheels, I prefer the the multispokes. The Neuspeed remind me of the OZ Ultraleggera I had on my red Mk1 so that's probably why I think they suit it more. Having said that, the others are still a great choice and give it a different look.

I also think I'm leaning towards the Neuspeeds as they look similar to the STI wheels on my Subaru, although they're 12 spokes so are a bit more fussy.

It's a cracking car but I still think the MK1 Octavia has it beaten on looks. I reckon I'll be back in another one day & seeing what you have done to yours is great to see.
