Looking to update my 2017 VRS Octavia’s headunit 

Andriod auto works through a cable with zero issues but when I plug my iPhone in with a cable it doesn’t work.

I went and bought a genuine apple cable with data transfer and that didn’t help. 
So last thing I can think of is an update to try and fix the issue.
