Longest Skoda Convoy

Featured Replies

Last night on my way home, I was the third car in a line of 4 Skodas, pretty impressive I thought considering Skoda's small market share in the UK (1.6% last year).

This got me thinking, what's the longest, unorganised line of Skodas you've been in?

(Don't count Briskoda meets or runs out with your mates as these will have some element of pre-arranging)

third in a line of four, have they brought out a 1.4D Superb:eek:

About 2 and that was in a carpark in ASDA. Im on me way to Fakirk on Thursday nice 400 mile trip, so i will see if i get involved in a mini Skoda convoy!!!!

One morning driving into work I overtook a Superb, and whilst I was driving in front of that, a Fabia overtook me...

Mum had parked in tescos at back of car park... came back to find 7 skodas all parked in a line next to her inc. an identicle 4x4 which was one letter out from different on reg plates  Never see 4x4 octys then two identicle together randomly!!

I flashed a furby vRS once to say hello, and he moved over

I have been in a random group of three furbies, myself included on the motorway once. :)

I was in a 3 car convoy once with me at the front in a red Octy estate, then a red Octy hatch, and finally a red Fabia.

i was in a skoda sandwich fabia in front octavia behind the other day but i was driving my works van (a white '01 VW Caddy 1.9SDI) so it was Vag convow with a seat ibiza in front of the fabia....

When I go and visit my parents, there are 3 Skodas on the drive!

I pulled into this car park back in the winter, 'what a coincidence' I thought ;)

A couple of weeks ago when 3 f's jnr took his yellow Fabia vRS to your place (Simpsons) for a bit of warranty work. There was me driving Mrs 3 f's 05 plate yellow Fabia vRS, then 3 f's jnr in his 06 plate Fabia vRS, then one of your salesman colleagues in a new Octy II.

Got a few looks as two identical Skodas were cruising down the M65.:D

Well there are plenty of Skodas in Falkirk, the majority in Scottish Black so a mini convoy shouldn't be a problem:thumbup:

You could always park in Lower Newmarket Street, guaranteed Skoda convoy.

(Its the taxi rank):D

Funnily enough I was in a three vRS convoy on M3 south last night... Octy vRS, Fab vRS and me! Cool...

The Octy guy was a bit weird, kept booting it in middle lane (Its ok Mr Octy man, I know your car is faster than mine, but Im pretty sure the kids in the back trying to watch a film dont appreciate the jumpy ride!) and then I flashed to let him overtake a bus -no thankyou... Where the Skoda vibe gone? Neither wave or even acknowledged me.

Very upset...

I pulled into this car park back in the winter' date=' 'what a coincidence' I thought ;)

And if you look closely, you'll see the two black Fabia's with their windscreen wipers in the exact same position.... This coincidence thing is getting a little scary:D

And the majority have their lights on

About 100, have you seen the yellow b'mouth taxi and black christchurch taxis on a friday night :p

You can go into town and see a whole street of Octy I's, only problem is when you stop at the lights and some drunken oik thinks you are a Taxi.

3 car convoy for 100 miles plus, green fabia, silver octy vrs, black octy vrs ,engines not running ,and the drivers eating ,sleeping and looking at the view .Wonderful ship the Normandie on the portsmouth to caen crossing last year

Loads - although given that Canterbury apparently has the highest density of Skodas in the UK maybe its not a surprise :)

Weirdest one was a couple of weeks ago on our French holiday, as we were passing Rouen on the way back, when just before a peage we got overtaken by a UK reg Fabia Estate (1.4 I think) going about 110mph just as we closed on two Octy 2 diesel hatches one Dutch registered and one French registered  Must admit I was quite surprised to see as many French registered Skuds as I did during the 2 weeks given that, in the past, the French seemed to only buy French cars.

Anyone remember Bruningsthorpe 2004.... Funny who there was well in excess of 15 skodas in one very long lineon the M1........ Just needed the Rubber duck on the bonnet! It just grew and grew started off as organised but then people just tagged along as the snake came past!

There was a 4 skoda convoy on my way to work this morning.

My OctyII , an 06 Superb , a 51 OctyI estate and then a furby of some kind behind that
