Skoda Octavia 5E - From Bi-xenon to FULL LED

Featured Replies

Stock light: 5E1941017B / 5E1941018B - bi xenon ( from 2015 model )

new light part number: 5E1941016D + 5E1941015D ( facelift model from 2017 + new bumper )

They changed light from bi-xenon to FULL LED.
its possible to code from bi-xenon to FULL LED?
I have many errors now on dashboard, but lights work..

I tryied to go through adaptation but its to complicated for me what it needed to be changed

If anyone have same cars with FULL LED with lights part number if you can send me adaptation .csv map that would be awesome or if someone now what it needed to be changed i will adapt it.

regards.

it doesn't work the way you think

with starting from the completely different installation to completely different control and coding blocks, the fact that the headlights are on in emergency mode does not mean that they are working.

and I forgot something with vcds you can do absolutely nothing

Well to start with, the wiring is completely different as its all done via BUS and not via 12v individual wires, you need a different 4B module, possibly a different BCM and you also need the windscreen camera depending on headlight type.

Youll need ODIS or VCP to upload the correct datasets and remove immo block on the new BCM, VCDS is not able to do any of this.

There is a massive amount more to this than just fitting headlights and changing a few adaptations.
