Superb Mk II Hatch rear parking sensors not working?

Featured Replies

Hi all first post here so please go easy😂. I have recently purchased a Skoda superb mk2 hatch. On the night I purchased it, the left centre rear parking sensor was playing up saying that there was something there when there wasn’t. It now just has a long beep when I put it into reverse and no display or help when reversing. I ran a vcds scan and it came up as that sensor. Does anyone know how I can get access to replace that sensor or could it possibly be a wire loom. How well do generic eBay replacement sensors work as tps want over £130 for a new sensor. Thanks in advance for the help.

Hi, welcome.

might be wires or connector perhaps, I don't think you can tell until you look or test sensor connector.

You would get more advice on the model specific forum if you post there. - Skoda Superb Mk II (2008-2015) - https://www.briskoda.net/forums/forum/136-skoda-superb-mk-ii-2008-2015/

Good luck.

@A845-ALY did you get this sorted in the end, was it a new sensor required?

I’ve not got around to it yet, waiting for better weather. Bit the bullet and ordered a generic sensor as I do think it’s a single faulty sensor as only one comes up in vcds Will post an update once done
