Rear shock absorbers advice

Recommended Posts

Morning Folks.

I own a 2005 Fab Vrs and have an AP 25mm lowered suspension kit fitted.

I have a leaking NSR shock and need to replace it but am having trouble locating a matched AP replacement that isn't a fortune to import.

Can I fit a standard VRS shock ie will it be 'man' enough to handle sports suspension and if so any recommendations on make/type that won't break the bank? TIA

Hardly excessively priced!

Thanks for the reply but as a pair, add shipping and thats not that great. They don't appear to ship to the UK apparently!

Would normal VRS (Aftermarket) shocks cope with the uprated suspension?

Blimey, tighter than two coats of paint!

Ok, I agree that, because it's the rear, pretty much any uprated gas shocks should be alright, I've used KYB in the past with good results, they can often be found very cheaply on eBay.

🤣  Not sure what you mean!! I like to keep her rolling without spending too much. (Within reason) The KYB's  sound like a good option. Thanks. 😊
