VRs 1.9 MK1 07 Windows steaming up!
Hamlet5 replied to Hamlet5's topic in Skoda Fabia Mk I (1999-2007)
Are they easy enough to find? -
As per title, windscreen especially steamed up when i come to it in the morning, even when its been parked in the garage overnight, changed the pollen filter, but no better. Is there a drain hole that needs unblocking, or is there a problem elsewhere, TiA.

Any additional jacking points?
Hamlet5 replied to Koreenium's topic in Skoda Rapid & Spaceback (2012 > )
Hi, ive only had it for a couple of months, so im no expert, and you never stop learning. I do quite a bit of rallying, so i understand the basics, its a good car to start off with, the only thing ill uprate are the pads and struts/shocks, mind you the headlights are a bit ****, so any tips would be gratefully received, thanks Terry. -

Just an idea, why would you want it to twist though? Its an independent rear suspension set up, i would of thought lest twist the better! -

Is the rear beam that weak, you cant use it for jacking the car up? -
Have you tried the Aux 12v socket wire, usually a constant live.

Try Autocrash parts in Farnworth, near Bolton, excellent knowledge.

My gear change is a bit sloppy, sounds like you know what your on about! Can you adjust it, or is there a quick shift for the Mk1 VRs? Ta -

Thanks for all the info, i've learnt something then. Dual Mass it is! Next question, is it a DIY job? -
Thanks in advance, is this a worthwhile conversion to do? Are there any benefits - downsides either way? Mk1 Fabia VRs Std 130 bhp
