Hi

 

2006 vRS standard headlights

 

Offside dipped headlight not working.

 

Bulb is OK

Earth to bulb holder is OK

No 12v getting to bulb

Unplugged main connector and the yellow wires have 12v

 

I'm thinking that either the connector on the headlamp unit has a bad connection or there is a break in the wiring within the headlamp unit

 

Anyone else had this problem with the offside dipped beam?

Have you checked the fuse?

Fuse is ok because I'm getting 12v in the plug that connects to the headlamp 

Try a different bulb just to be sure.

The bulb is ok

 

I've tried the bulb connected directly to a 12v supply
