Hello, I'm looking for the tailgate control unit -J605-, according to erWin it should be behind the left trunk panel, but I didn't find anything there, erWin couldn't show a picture "image not present"

 

I then found this picture here on the internet but I can't find a control unit there

it could perhaps be in the trunk like on the Touareq etc. ?

First question - do you have the electric tailgate? As this is only present on electric tailgate models. If you have a manual tailgate the latch is controlled by the body control module.
