Hi everyone, I'm just about to take delivery of a 2023 Superb estate,ex dealer pre-registered and I notice that one of the options on some models, but not mine, unfortunately, is a usb socket on the drivers mirror to power a dashcam. SoI was wondering if, like some other cars the wiring loom exists but is just not connected because that mirror/ plug wasn't spec'd on the build. In other words, if I somehow removed the shroud around that area, would I find power already there, but not terminated?

 

anyone tried to fit a dashcam that way? Thanks in advance?

Very unlikely to be any unused wiring, I'm afraid.
