Data Transfer Warning Message

Featured Replies

I keep getting a message on the radio screen saying 'Data transfer is currently set to 'Share my position'.  You can find what this setting entails and how to change it in the control centre'.  No matter what I change it to, the relevant warning message keeps appearing on the screen.  Is it possible to disable it and if so, how?.  Many thanks.

Assuming this is the same system as my 2023 SE L - swipe down from the top of the infotainment screen and you should see rhe cars current setting.

Selecting the right hand most icon will bring up another menu where you can configure Privacy setting (left hand symbol represents max privacy-> right gand symbol min privacy).

It has me stumped for a while when I first took delivery!

Pinkpanther.  Thank you.  I managed to find the 4 different privacy settings but whichever I choose, I keep getting a warning message telling me which setting I have selected when I start the car.  It is this warning message I want to get rid of as it is annoying.  Does anyone know if the message can be disabled and, if so, how?  Thank you.

Try creating a profile in Users then change the Privacy setting as described above.  That might make it remember each time the car ignition is turned on

No idea if it will solve it but I'd certainly consider giving it a go

Did you resolve this? Was it fixed by setting up a profile?

Try changing the setting of the Guest profile. When I first got my Karoq, I got a tpms not set warning message every tins I started if. Eventually got rid of it by setting it on the Guest profile as it hadn’t been set.

Most surprised that members reactions are that either they don’t see the message, or no easy way to delete it. Mine does exactly the same, but not a problem as it disappears when radio etc switched on, but still annoying.
