Tailgate

Featured Replies

Hi,

Brand new member, I am picking up my Superb Estate 2016 on Sunday. I had a look at it today and noticed that the tailgate does not open with the key fob. should it open with the fob or is old school where I push the tailgate button?

It should open with the key fob, but you have to hold the button down for a couple of seconds. I think you also have to be outside the car.

One more cheeky question about the tyres on it. Is this cross threading legal?

So long as the tyre sizes are the same, ( example - 215/55 R17, yours may be different size) then its perfectly legal to have different brands or patterns of tyre across the same axle

Thank you very much

It may feel unbalanced with different tyre brands/models. But then may not depending how hard you drive and how sensitive you are to that sort of thing.
