I own a 2018 Fabia SEL with an Amundsen unit.

Over the last few months my DAB reception has deteriorated to almost non existent.

The car has a panoramic roof.

My Skoda dealership plugged it into their  diagnostics and it showed 'DAB open circuit'.

They tell me the amplifier needs replacing in the tailgate.

Has anyone else had this?

They haven't given me a quote as yet.

Is it an easy fix? (Bearing in mind I'm not too handy and this kind of stuff).

Quite easy. However, this might be not just the amplifier but also cable between amplifier and infotainment unit or even the unit itself.

If you share VIN then I can check part number of amplifier installed in your car.

@RickW you might already know this and I've got the wrong end of the stick but if not - to get direct (depending on his settings perhaps?) to pab567 from this thread start with the 'at' symbol then, no space, go on typing his site name and you'll get a drop list of members, the more characters of pab567 you type the shorter the list and closer to his site name to click on it or just type the lot.  HTH.
