Mark 4 VRS headlight vs Standard

Featured Replies

Hello All.

I have just order a new Octavia 1.5p SEL HB with a 16 week lead time so expecting mid to late July which according to the internet will also be the same time that all the newer style will be hitting the roads . My order was for pre face lift so not expecting the newer model although builds will be very close and would be nice as i do prefer the new front end.

The pre facelift is still a decent car and the only thing i think lets it down in my opinion is the headlights. I much prefer the look of the full LED matrix set on the current VRS. So my question is, If i don't get the face lift,  then if i could find a set of newish VRS headlights reasonable from say a rear end right off would they be an easy switch into a standard mark 4 SEL model of the same year ?

More trouble and expense that it's worth.

If you can get the lights at a reasonable price, then go for it. They're the most expensive piece of the puzzle
