Temporary disable alarm on mark II

Featured Replies

Hi, I'm currently away and leaving the dogs in the car cages, is there a way of temporarily disabling the alarm as I can't lock the car as the alarm goes off.

Thanks

Most recentish Skoda/VAG cars can be locked with no interior protection or deadlocking by pressing the lock button twice. The car will be locked but no flashing red light. It's what I do when I drive onto a ferry!

It differs from model to model, it might help if you said what model you had a mk II of ?

@simonba you may have already done so but in case not, have you checked the Owner';s Manual.
