MK3 ESTATE Multifunction after loocking the car

Featured Replies

Hello everyone

About my car

My car Octavia SE 1.5 TSI S-A Estate

Variant ACDADAAX0

I have the following problem with my car after loocking the door:

- hazard lights all around start working

- after 60s the alarm horn is activated.

- when car is locked - rear tail lights start luminating a bit

Because of these I need to disconect the battery every time I leave the car 😞

When I start the ignition I do get the following faults:

- Manuevre breaking currently not avaliable

- Error start- stop system

- Error tyre pressure

- Error stabilisation control (ESC)

- Error Tyre pressure indicator

- Back door blimking on the dash info screen

Many of these are caused because the battery has been disconnected

It has been diagnosed by the dealer as faulty BCM but after replacing it and reprogramming the problem stays the same.

Whole circut of towing bar, back lights, door ect has been isolated to check for shortcuts - still no luck

If anyone here has had similar problem or maybe have any idea what to do/check next is welcome to send me message for what I thank you in advance

Many thanks for reading

Have a good day

Peter

What's the condition of the battery?  Has it been tested?

Hi thanks for your message. The battery has need tested all good

Has the battery been testing in all operating conditions?  Just because it shows 12.x V sat still does not mean it's healthy.
