Weird humming and vibration

Featured Replies

Hey there! I have been driving a Skoda Roomster 1.6 Petrol 2009 for about half a year now. Recently I had an error shown: P0441 "Evaporative emission (EVAP) system - incorrect flow detected", replaced the Purge valve, but soon after the error popped up again with another one this time: P2097 "Post Catalytic Converter fuel trim (FT), bank 1 - too rich". After that, on my way back, in the middle of a highway one cylinder started misfiring. That stopped after restarting the engine, but now it is humming loudly and vibrates when I press the gas pedal hard enough. Does anyone have any idea about what could be the problem here and how to fix it? No smells or rattlings otherwise, so I was hoping it's not the catalytic converter.

Welcome. Sorry not a clue but grown ups might be along.     How many miles / km on the car.  How much servicing have you done?   Are there good spark plugs fitted, correct gap, and a nice clean fresh and dry air filter fitted,?

Hey! The car has almost 360000km on it and has new spark plugs installed, but the air filter is not exactly fresh.
