hello again

i have a two button remote key problem is it will lock remotely but won't unlock

is this cos one battery is dead or do the two batts work as one (if you know what i mean)

or is my key dead can i get it replaced under warranty

edit!! just opened said key and there's only one battery so guess the key is dead

Nowt to do with the battery I wouldn't think.

If you pop down to an electronics store and know somebody who is good with a soldering iron they will be able to change the switch for the unlock bit for under £1 plus a drink, as opposed to a whole new key fob and programming at about £100

I had the exact same problem with my fob, I took it to bits and found some cr@p had got inside and screwed it up, after a blast with some compressed air it was fine.

Battery change makes no difference either, I tried that first!

it appears youre right i opened up the key give it a blow and it worked
