I was about to finalise my order for a combi L&K 2.0TSI 4x4 L&K at the dealer today. When we were finalising the order we noticed that the webasto engine and interior heating is not available on the 2.0TSI. It is available on the 1.5TSI, not on the PHEV (confirmed that it will never come). Has anyone heard anything about a timeline when this might come available. My dealer is going to try to find out on Monday but maybe someone knows. Since i live in Finland it is a needed part of the car

Is 2.0 TSI 4x4 already available on Superb 4 in your country?

Saw a YouTube review the other day from either Czechia or Slovakia and he showed documentation which said December 2024.

Yeah i could order it but this is a crucial piece of kit that is needed on the car here in winter. So have to wait sadly

To clarify, I meant the 2.0 TSI was there, wasn't referring to Webasto. No-one else has been able or willing to say when orders open for 2.0 TSI in any market.

Do the IV-models have some kind of integrated system or why isn't Webasto available for them either?

Those with the current Suberb iV,s (PHEV,s) will be able to say how things are.

 

The Interior can be pre heated.  (Can that happen even when not on a charger?) 

Maybe Pre-heating an engine which might not be required to even be running when moving off has been deemed unnecessary.

FWIW I had this on my 2002 Rover 75:  it was called the bathroom setting…

I was explained the following on Saturday for the new superb combi:

 

1.5 TSI E-Tec - can have webasto

1.5 TSI PHEW - Will never have a webasto

2.0TDI - Can have webasto

2.0TSI - Not currently but might come in the future detailed to be looked in to.

 

He also told me they have these topics with other models which wont have a skoda offered webasto. They are providing them withe DEFA instead

A few days ago, the 2.0 TSI 4x4 265HP appeared in the configurator in Romania and it is available with Webasto at the price of 1529 euros. What is missing from the configurator is the sunroof.
Does anyone have information about the panoramic sunroof if it is available?

 

I am interested in this L&K engine. I haven't ordered it yet, I'm waiting for it to show up at the dealer for a test drive.

 

Has anyone ordered? What delivery time was communicated to you?

Thanks for the information on the webasto.  The car i test drove (1.5TSI) has the sunroof and i was told the 2.0TSI also would have the sun roof.

 

Delivery time was about 2.5 months when i was about to order but then halted.

I just had a look at the Romanian configurator and there i cant seem to find the option for the Webasto but i can find the panoramic roof for 1224 euro for L&K 2.0 TSI

Update: Orders from Monday the 8th of July will include the Webasto so then my car will finally be ordered. Expected delivery early October

I had to hurry with the order and I ordered at the beginning of July 2.0 TSI 265 HP L&K, without the auxiliary heating, not being available then, I don't know why. Regarding the panoramic sunroof, it is only available on the Combi version, but I don't want the Combi.
Delivery time 12-14 weeks.

It seems TSI 265 won't be sold in France or... very rarely, since there's a strong lobby against CO2 emission, which granted MK3 TSI280 a remarkable €40000 tax (while the car was sold ~€65000) for instance! 🤯 
All middle range sports cars such as GTI, Megane RS, Audi S3, Toyota GR86, etc. are now 'dead'. Some are even withdrawn from the catalog.
This silly measure has suddenly increased the 2nd hand market prices, with prices higher price than brand new cars for those, which are less than 2 years old. Complete non sense...
As a matter of fact, sellers want to take a part of this silly tax back...
Politician will soon cry that the automotive park is getting older and is then less safe...

that is insane and as you rightly mentioned so ineffective in the long run. but hey since when did politicians have commen sense

getting closer. still in ordered status but today the trim level and other details became visible for the first time.

In Finland I order my PHEV Selection 14.6 and it comes to dealer 19.8 so delivery time was about 2 Monts.

I cancel my order so I don’t take it because of missing features which perhaps comes later by OTA. Nobody has any idea When updates comes and are they available to this 2024 Superb .

things are moving now. the car is being build now.

When did you place your order?

I ordered mine here in Estonia on 16. august with pretty much same setup (2.0TSI L&K with webasto) and they promised delivery time about 12 weeks.
Unfortunately Track & explore is not available in EE.

i ordered mine on the 8th of July. with at that time an estimated delivery time of 4th of october

And we are in the next phase. it took 5 days to produce
