Door locks!!!

Featured Replies

My drivers door has started to decide not to unlock occasionally! The key fob locks the doors OK but the driver's door sometimes refuses to unlock.

Anybody have any ideas or solutions?

by door handle or button on key fob?

1. test with second key fob

2. test with brand new battery

my previous 2016. Mk3 warned on MaxiDot about low voltage at least one month earlier than it still continued to operate

while on my current 2023. Mk3.FL, KESSY gone after ~11 months without any warnings, key fob unlock button worked

fixed it by new battery

Yep, same here. New battery fixed intermittent drivers door unlocking using the door handle. If I used the key button it’d work, until a few days later when it failed completely. Shoved a new battery in and it’s been all good for the past two years.

Tried new batteries but no result. I am on key use atm, will have a chat to my VAG to see about lock renewal.
