Just noticed that the two internal lights overhead the rear seats are on when I'm driving. They only go off when I exit and lock the car so I'm not really concerned about running the battery down.

 

However, I've tried turning them off using the rear light button in the front of the car, turned  both rear light buttons off together with front rear button, and other variations but nothing works to turn them off. Front internal lighting works as it should. Is anyone able to offer a solution to turn the rear internal lights off?

Check the reading lamp push button switches on the rear light - you won't be the first and you won't be the last to miss them. If you get stuck I'm sure there's information in the handbook.
