Everything just like the youtube , unplug the original gear box signal cable, reconnect the new micro switch with the gear box cable.....

Restart the engine and i guessed i didn't make anything wrong but fault error still exists

Quick thoughts:

there is a part that ends with A and a part that ends with B(?)/C(?)-  have you got the right part and fitted it correctly, errors and warnings sometimes disappear by driving the car a distance (not always that far I think) so if you've not already done so try driving it and see if the message goes away having appeased the Gods that are computers and their programming.

ETA: we don't know which YouTube video you mean as I (almost) sure there is more than one YT vid on this.

Let us know how you get on.

yes, you're correct, the previous threads revealed if the gear housing is WHITE then I will need 3Q0713128, if its a BLACK housing then i will need 5Q0713128A.

I was not fully correct but at least you knew what I meant, thanks.

Very sorry to hear you needed to replace the ECU.

Is it sorted now?

I seem to recall that @skodud ended up rejecting the vehicle.

@skodud  your posts here might allow others to understand the history to your post yesterday in the About to buy a Skoda section about a possible Gagging order.
