About to pull the trigger on a Skoda Scala, but I've got 1 burning question...

Featured Replies

Can you fit a golf bag (driver and all) in the boot with the back seats up? I didn't have my bag with me when I took one for a test drive and Google offers up a frustrating lack of photographic evidence... any confirmation pics would be greatly appreciated.

can't you just go back with your golf bag?

Having ordered mine mid February and still waiting for delivery I can’t try my golf bag.

However, I did take measurements at the dealers. Boot width as a mat would fit is 100cm x Depth 86cm. There is additional width forward of the wheel arch separated by 2 plastic dividers, which removed should allow another estimated 29cm minimum width, being the rear seat is 129cm wide.

I would imagine you will find a solution, failing that there’s always a 1 Iron.

Tell us the dimensions of your golf bag ... and someone will measure their boot.

@JuanCrei "About to pull the trigger on a Skoda Scala"; well use a 0.44 Magnum and make sure! ;)

Even better - S&W large-frame .500 cal. 😁

I will be collecting our new Scala in a couple of weeks time.

Most golf driver clubs these days are around 45"

Prior to visiting the showroom, I measured the height of my golf carry bag with Driver & Headcover therein and it came to roughly 47".

Then once at the showroom, I measured the distance from one side of the boot to the opposite side of the rear seats and it was a fraction over 47".

So in theory it should work but the worst case scenario is that you may need to remove the driver head cover.

Clearly with the golf bag lying diagonally across the boot, it may restrict the remaining space if you have a large motorized trolley.

Hope this helps.
