Škoda Superb III 2020 2.0 TSI SportLine DSG oil change

Featured Replies

Hi I have a year 4&5 service plan and extended warranty. This Skoda service schedule someone on here have me attached says oil maintenance of DSG at year 4 / 40000 miles (chargeable) £215. I've done 33000. I phoned main dealer who say that it's now 80000 miles no year requirement. Is this right? I've asked them to check with workshop. Is this really a change or a mistake? This would be an expensive failure so i could do it after the warranty has expired i guess. Anyone any actual experience of DSG failures, oil changes etc

TIA☘️🙏🏾

There never ever has been a Year Requirement.

Does the service plan include the servicing of a DSG in the price?

Is Brake Fluid Changes.  Is the Air Filter even if the car has not covered 60,000 miles.  (Check it annually.)

It was nothing for DQ200,s.  40,000 for others 6 Speed Wet Clutch DSGs,   80,000 for DQ381,s.  Some are having them done sooner.  Some are having MCU issues / failures.

These cause confusion.

Are they right or wrong In the second and third coloured documents though please? I'm assuming i have a DQ381. Is it worth a change before or after warranty?

Thanks

The Service Guidelines, Recommendations, Advice, Specifications, Schedule for a DQ381 Oil Change according to VW / Skoda is @ 80,000 miles.

Ridiculous.  & get the Filter changed as well.

It never has been at 4 years with DQ250,s unless the car was on 40,000 miles at 4 years.

Well, we miss some information from you to answer properly:

Model Year / Engin version / DSG 6 or 7

Then, we can advise you. ;)

Please read my post. It's a 7 speed.

@BPL  Get the DQ381 DSG serviced at the Authorised Service place / main dealer pre warranty expiring if you want. (If they will take your money and do it early.)

They have to do it correctly.

That will make no difference once the Manufacturers Warranty expires though.   If they messed up they will deny that they did anyway.

Be sure to take out an Extended Warranty that will cover the DSG in the event of failure, if you can get such a thing.

I read your posts. Nowhere do you say it is a 7 speed.

You may think you did write it in your original post, but you didn't... ;)

But now we know 😁. I assume you have a 4x4 version if you speak about a DQ381. Otherwise it's a DQ380.

But we still don't know engine version, nor MY... ;)

Can someone check my gearbox type pls.

It is 11/2018 2.0 140kw dsg 7

VIN: TMBJJ9NP0K7032985

The DQ380,s were for FWD, but used in China and with some VW,s.  Not to my knowledge used by Skoda in Europe.
