Hi,

I have multiple warnings lights on the dashboard of my Octavia since this morning:
EPC, ABS, Start Stop, tyre pressure, power steering.
I still can drive with my car but it's really difficult without any power steering.
I connected it with OBD11.
Please see below.
I checked all fuses and the battery of the car.
It is all fine.
Can anyone help please?

Hmm, I'd normally suggest this indicates a battery failing issue - I know you said you've checked, but how? Electric power steering has a high current demand so is an early casualty if all is not well. You can also get spurious errors elsewhere. 

 

Another known strange fail can be an abs sensors - especially rear.

Handy if you show in your signature the Car info.  So is it a 1.0TSI? 

The battery shows 12,5v and the car starts without any problems.

If it's an abs sensor, shouldn't OBD11 show a failure abs sensor instead of  
U012100 - Lost Communication With Anti-Lock Brake System (ABS) Control Module

 

How can I know which sensor it is?

Yes it is

Mine suddenly started throwing up multiiple error messages a couple of months ago. It was the battery.

What voltage did the battery show?

No OBD11 then, so don't know.

Within a few days of starting to throw up error messages, it began to turnover a little slowly when starting. and died a few days later. Battery transplant worked wonders!

Sometimes it's not the resting voltage of the battery but what happens under electrical load - especially if a failing cell with internal resistance. I changed the original battery on my Superb when strange things started happening during lockdown(always started ok though), probably due to lack of use or the fact it was a Moll, it was 6ish years old at the time - all good since. 

 

Out of interest does stop / start still work?

 

PS it's not just Skoda that has strange errors re battery - Mrs BJ's Fiat 2006 Panda starts flashing up "Power Steering Fault" every now and again when the battery is failing, new battery fixes it for another 6 years or so.  Car always starts just fine. Family owned from new.

When you consider that micro processors control practically every single item in a modern vehicle, it's not surprising that spurious faults can get displayed when supply voltages start to drift.

You were right, it had something to do with the battery. It was a loose ground wire...I checked it but couldn't find the problem. I sent my vehicle to the workshop.

They found the problem after hours of searching...

With loss of comms; its either a battery problem (do a CCA test and see what the state of the battery is like) - or you have a blown fuse and part of the CAN High has gone offline.
