Software Version

Featured Replies

So i'm having Android Auto Issues - I just wondered if i'm on the latest Software version!?

Does Anybody know which is the latest?

I have 21 plate Skoda Superb, it has H22 Hardware and Software version 306 according to the Headunit

Is this the latest version?  Is there an update avaliable??

If anybody wants to weigh in on my AA issue.....

Spoiler

I've got a 2021 Skoda Superb with the Canton sound system (not sure if that's relevant). I've had the car for about a year, and every four months or so, my wireless Android Auto stops working. One day it just stops connecting. My phone shows it's connected to Android Auto, but the car says it's not.

If I connect via USB-C, it works fine. I've tried removing and resetting Android Auto and all Bluetooth connections on my phone. I've also done a soft reset on the car stereo and made sure everything is updated to the latest apps and firmware.

During this time, I've used different phones (a Pixel 6 Pro and now a Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra). The only way I've found to get wireless Android Auto working again is to do a full wipe of the car's head unit. Honestly, it would probably be easier and faster to reset my phone because the Skoda head unit is really slow, especially if you're trying to set up multiple users.

I've soft reset on multiple occasions (long press of the poser button)

Does anyone have any other suggestions for getting wireless Android Auto to work again?

I have twice had Android auto start to do things like fail to connect, or drop connection, that kind of thing. On both occasions it was fixed by buying a new cable, short, and of a reputable brand.

Not saying it will be the answer, but it's cheap to find out.

If course, if you are using it wirelessly then that's all irrelevant.

Its wireless i'm having issues with - The cable seems to work fine, but does take a bit of time to connect initially

Newest is 0330.

Some info how to update:

Ah, wireless.

For me I tried it once, it dropped and so on, and I thought what's the point of that. A cable works, takes one second to plug in and charges the phone battery, never mind drains it.

Don't see the value of wireless for me so didn't pursue it
