Hi all my question is on the fob is a boot release button ,should this automatically open the boot or just unlock it?

If the latter is true then because you need the key on you to open the boot or car doesn't this button become redundant!

If the boot is not electric, then obviously no. But if it is electric I would expect it to open. Just bear in mind that if it is like my Karoq the button will open the boot from a fair distance. I had my boot open everal times through accidentally pressig the button whilst my keys are in my pocket that I have removed the key from my unch and leave it on a table.

Hi just for info I found the answer!You have to hold down the button for automatic opening/closing!
