Skoda Yeti 2016 - 2L Diesel 4x4 - Condenser Replacement

Featured Replies

Can anyone help or point me in the right direction. A stone punctured the lower part of my Condenser and I need to replace. Having searched the forum I cannot see any detail on how to best do this ... though I did pick up the great tip to add some type of mesh on the lower part of the intake grill to try and prevent this issue in the future.

I have had the bumper off to see how to access the condenser and got stuck on which way to go , eg do I have to remove the radiator to get access or is there another way to do this.

I was able access the high & low pressure refrigerant lines , however, from what I can see  there is a torx bolt holding the condenser to the radiator and I was unable to access this or get any further .

Welcome.

Maybe a Mod can lock this thread as the post in the Yeti section should be enough.

You really should get the refrigerant vacuumed out before disconnecting the lines.

Fully understand, however , the hole was large and the system completely empty.

Any guidance on how to remove the condenser?

thx
