Hi all, I've just bought my first car, a 2007 skoda roomster 1.4 l petrol. I need to get a service and timing belt/waterpump replaced. I'm looking at the parts on a site in Germany. 

What I'd like to know is what makers do experienced Roomster owners recommend for, 

Waterpunp/Timing belt kit, (I'm looking at WATER PUMP + TIMING BELT KIT QUINTON HAZELL QBPK5820). 

Oil filter 

Air filter 

Spark plugs. 

I'd like to Start as I mean to go on by buying good quality parts.

I looked at some reviews for QH and thought it might be better to go with GATES KP35565XS. 

Also looking at NGK plugs, it says the gap is 0.7 does that sound right? 

I was a motorbike driver most of my life so have no idea about cars.
