my car reports oil service in X miles. And I received the following email as well from Skoda service :

 

Your vehicle has contacted us requesting a service, if you would like to make an appointment we are curranty booking 14 days ahead.

 

How (technically) does the car connect to Skoda service ? Do they have SIM card ?

There is a eSIM installed.

Is there any way to manage it (i.e. turn it off) ?

I am not that advanced in this type of car stuff and am afraid I will disable some other service 😉

I thought it is easier.
