I’ve had my Sportline Plus just coming up to a week now and have noticed that the ambient light strips in the dash and doors are on all the time, during the day when the headlights haven’t been activated. 
in my last car (Cupra Formentor), the ambient lighting ONLY came on when my headlights were activated. Ie not during the day. 
but those in my Superb are on from ignition. Is that correct?

Yes, it's on all the time, however it is not clearly visible during the day time.

Yes it’s on all the time, you can turn the brightness down if wanted but with how dim they are during the day I doubt it’s an issue 

Thanks guys, you’ve put my mind at rest. Yeah not an issue at all, just functions differently to other cars I’ve experienced that have ambient lights, where they are “activated” when the headlights are turned on. 
Glad to hear my car is working as intended. 

Is there any coding to turn on ambient light with headlights only? It's silly to work during the day but it is what it is...
