ACC Adaptive Cruise Control/Front Assist issue - Code C110300

Featured Replies

I have the apparently quite common C110300 Adaptive Cruise Control Misadjusted issue and have researched this widely, but haven't found answers to some specific questions and am hoping for your help.

1) ACC works on every restart but only for 15min. It performs perfectly for roughly that time frame (light or strong braking, tracking vehicles, keeping distance, accelerating, etc.)

2) The code (checked with OBD11 Pro) lists the fault as intermittent not as static

3) The live figures I have been checking based on other documents are within spec:

Horizontal alignment -0.49

Vertical alignment -0.16

Misalignment angle, fast algorithm 0.05

Misalignment angle 0.03

But recently I have found that the Vertical deadjustment fluctuates between -3.5 to -4.5

Here the questions:

Do the alignment bolts for the sensor adjust the Horizontal and Vertical alignment or the vertical dealignment? The videos I have seen say the former, but my issue seems to be the vertical deadjustment??? What is the process for addressing the vertical deadjustment. I have reset the numbers to 0.0 (except for the horizontal and vertical alignment which remain unchanged)  and following the live data it takes about 15 minutes before the vertical dealignment gets registered. Once I hit roughly  -3.5 I get the warning message and ACC turns off.

If this is the cause of the issue, why does it not trigger at around -1 or -2?

Thanks for your help.
