MK3.5vrs to MK4vrs... worth it or not?

Thinking of upgrading from TDI MK3.5vrs to a petrol MK4 vrs...

A couple of things that I'm concerned about.... reading about problems with the touchscreen freezing and SOS going bang ? It's a 1 year old car I'm looking at, so I'm not sure if those problems would exist on a newer car, what is the touchscreen like to use, I'm pretty much a knobs and dials person haha
Also what's the ride like on those 19s ? My vrs has DCC with 19s, would I notice the difference?
So those of you that have gone from MK3.5 to Mk 4...was it worth it lol

2014 SE. Had a low battery which failed to start the car. New battery. Car will start but dies after 3 seconds. Full tank of petrol. Dash engine light goes off but EPC remains on. Dash panel shows 'Safe' at all times. List of items checked: All fuses. Key fob battery. Spare key tried. Cam sensor changed. Ignition barrel and reader antenna changed. Crank sensor passes check. Fuel supply checked - OK. Throttle body checked. Multiple connectors checked. Battery disconnected, leads shorted. Dash pan

Boxing Day evening whilst static at lights an ambulance damaged my passenger wing and front panel plus headlight and my insurers gave it a non economic write off type “N” so I’m allowed to repair and use again with no long term insurance issues. Having stripped out wing, front panel, headlight and the wheel arch liner I’m thinking it is also a good time to replace front suspension as it will be easy to do with it open. Hi All.....I have a 2016 Yeti petrol 1.2 TSI .....and as my radio sensitive screen has decided not to work,.. has anyone fitted an Android unit with success ...like the Xtrons units..?? as the version of radio in mine...original Skoda fitting looks to be a £200 job to get the screen repaired....so has anyone fitted with success an Android verson

Hi All, I (unfortunately) have a tow trust towbar fitted and apart from the Skoda coding debacle, I am concerned about it's height. I know the centre of the tow ball is supposed to be between 350 mm and 420 mm when loaded with 4 people and luggage but even with lots of weight in the boot and the trailer hitched, mine is still nearer 50cm. If anyone on here has the factory fit tow towbar and an L & K estate on 18" wheels, I would be interested to know what the height the centre of your tow
