Airbag error - Octavia 3

Featured Replies

Hi,

Whilst driving today had warning come up on the dash with an airbag error. Despite turning car off and on again, warning remains. Tried to clear error by disconnecting battery for few minutes. Now I have more errors relating to start/stop, TPMS and ESC!

If anyone has suggestions what I may of inadvertently done or how to rectify it, I'd be grateful

Regards

The ESC and TPMS errors should clear after some more driving, it's normal for them to appear after disconnecting the battery.

The airbag error needs a code scan done to determine which part of the airbag system has a problem.

@Jonfa - As @PetrolDave says; additional note that the airbag light is a latching warning so you need VCDS or OBD ii to reset it after correcting the fault.
