Water leaking into footwell

Featured Replies

Well my car is now six days old and I have my first problem.

Water is dripping into the passenger footwell, I think it may be condensation from the air conditioning, the supplying dealer had never heard of this before until an hour before I rang someone else rang with the same problem! Also when sat idling it sounds like there is a garden fountain behind the passenger footwell, I definitely didn't tick that option box. Also today instead of cool air comimg from the vents there was a vapour trail...it looked quite good but I'm sure the aircon isn't supposed to do that! I think this may all be linked to the hot weather (32 degrees today here). Got it booked in next Wednesday....in the mean time anyone have any idea what's going on?

Yep the hose wil be kinked over id expect around the back of the centre console.

Hi Lummox

Is this a common problem?....is it easy to fix?...is the vapour from the vents linked?

Dan
