Windscreen washer pump replacement

Featured Replies

Car is now five years old and the windscreen washer has stopped working front and rear. The wipers still work so from looking on here I surmise the pump has died.

How do I get to the pump? Is it located below the washer fluid reservoir. How much dismantling.

I don't need to use the car every day so I can afford to take off the old pump before ordering the replacement.

Car is a Mk3 facelift.

I think you will need to take off the inner wheel arch lining to gain correct access.

Here are some pictures.
