I managed to do a diy job in a few mins without any ****-ups!!!! Ive fitted the seat strut brace to my tdi and the steering is now a little heavier and much more precise! Well thats how it feels.....

Good job!

Those driving school pupils dont know how lucky they are!

How much is the SEAT strut brace?

Thanks Andy. Thats a possible future mod for my vRS. :)

Is the fuel consumption much better too, Andy? Just asking because I have noticed that some members claim significant performance and fuel consumption improvements from the unlikeliest of mods/additives/polishes/stripes/earthing cables etc etc - and the brace just about qualifies as being akin to the latter. :)

Now theres an idea!!! The car is great fun now...... As an adi you often get pillocks trying it on as they just see the L board and nothing else. Now 90% of the time I let it go, the only 10% they get smoked and now we can really turn as well!!!!! The steering is now superb if anyone is local to me (the car is in devon 29-31/12 Liverpool 29/12 and 3/1) they are welcome to try it as its insured for any driver any age (no time wasters please). The rest of the suspension is standard.

so you think it has made a difference?.. even on standard suspension?
