Does my 1.2 tsi fabiawith a dsg gearbox have a dual mass flywheel.

No, it has dual clutches and is completely different.

It does have a dual mass flywheel 

Wow, who knew you had to change the flywheel on a twin clutch DSG gearbox.

^^^ Those that have had to pay to have them replaced.

 

Certainly on the earlier vehicles, I'm thinking of a circa 2008 Touran when the DMF is failing it can play havoc with the DSG and many an owner paid a fortune to have the DSG replaced only for the garage to have egg on their face, most of course covered their ar5es and filled their pockets by replacing the DMF at the same time as the functional gearbox as a matter of course.
